we have designed a thermal operated clutch ( engaging and releasing mechanism) with a friction plate, after showing Niranjan the design we discussed the benefit of using the friction plate clutch,
it is not a On Off clutch in this type the power transfer rate can be indefinite depending on percentage of clutch release, that allows a smooth engagement thus smooth power transfer.

i was looking for steam engine solution and i found a great steam engine design, it is called Green Steam Engine.
it is based on a flexible rod that allows converting reciprocating movement into rotational movement, and it is very compact.
